Prior to building a house pad we’ll come out and we’ll stake off four corners of the house to the outermost areas of the house. What that allows us to do, is to set up the house in relationship to whatever kind of easement we may have on the sides, front, and back, and then square it up with the road.

Once the four corners are established, then we can do the form boards for the foundation. When the foundation is designed and put up and finished then we’ll come out with a surveyor and they’ll survey the foundation, own relationship to where it sits on the lot. Just to kind of double check to make sure we’re not encroaching on any kind of building easement we may have out here.
